What is worth sending
- Corrections. Quote the sentence, give the page and attach the source that says otherwise.
- Sources. Archive, city and ministry pages, and published studies, are all useful to us.
- Record questions. We do not run searches in archives, though we can sometimes say which archive to ask. The records map is the place to begin.
- Partnerships and press. Say who you are and what you propose.
What we cannot help with
Legal advice and eligibility decisions are outside what we can offer. Start with our citizenship overview, then ask the Austrian embassy or consulate for your country, or a licensed lawyer. We cannot interpret anyone’s personal DNA results either.
